Umgang mit Frühkomplikationen in der unikondylären Knieprothetik – Was funktioniert, was nicht?

Zusammenfassung

Die Komplikationen in der frühen postoperativen Phase nach der Implantation einer unikondylären Knieendoprothese (UKP) sind selten und kaum in der Literatur beschreiben. Häufig liegen lediglich kleine Fallserien oder einzelnen Fallberichte vor. In diesem Artikel werden die häufigsten Komplikationen der periprothetischen Infektion, der periprothetischen Tibiafraktur, der Inlayluxation und des intraartikulären Zementrestes im Sinne eines freien Gelenkkörpers beschrieben und orientierende konservative und operative Handlungsempfehlungen anhand von Fallbeispielen aufgezeigt. Operationstechnische Fehler oder eine Infektion sollten idealerweise frühzeitig erkannt und zeitnah revidiert werden.
