Zusammenfassung

Kardiale Komplikationen sind schwerwiegende, wenngleich nicht selten unterschätzte Folgen eines ischämischen Schlaganfalls. Das Spektrum reicht von akuten Myokardinfarkten, schwerwiegenden Arrhythmien, Progress einer Herzinsuffizienz bis zum plötzlichen Herztod.
