Erfolgreiche adhäsive Befestigung von vollkeramischem Zahnersatz

Zusammenfassung

In vielerlei Hinsicht ist es sinnvoll, keramische Restaurationen adhäsiv zu befestigen. Je nach Art der Keramik sind unterschiedliche Vorgehensweisen besonders gut dazu geeignet, einen belastbaren Verbund zwischen Zahn und Restauration herzustellen. Der Beitrag fokussiert dabei auf den Verbund, der an der Grenzfläche zwischen Restaurationsmaterial und Befestigungszement entsteht, und gibt klare Empfehlungen bezüglich der mechanischen und chemischen Konditionierungsschritte, die notwendig sind, diesen dauerhaft belastbar zu gestalten. Dies wird durch eine kritische Bewertung der Verwendung von Universaladhäsiven und Universalprimern zur chemischen Haftvermittlung mit dem keramischen Substrat ergänzt. Außerdem werden Strategien aufgezeigt, die das Risiko einer verringerten Verbundqualität infolge einer Kontamination der restaurationsseitigen Klebefläche oder einer unzureichenden Lichtpolymerisation des Befestigungsmaterials minimieren können.

Der Aufbau von Geweben und Organen während der Embryonalentwicklung wird von den Zellen bemerkenswert choreografiert. Für diesen Prozess braucht es spezielle sogenannte „Organisatoren“. In einer aktuellen Veröffentlichung im Fachjournal Nature Cell Biology berichten Forschende durch welchen Vorgang diese Organisatoren im Gewebe entstehen und wie sie dann die Bildung von Zähnen orchestrieren.

Aus diesem Grunde trägt die erste Ausgabe in 2024 erstmalig den neuen Titel.
