Das Apoptose-Markerenzym Poly-(ADP-Ribose-)Polymerase (PARP) beim systemischen Lupus erythematodes

Zusammenfassung

Das Enzym Poly-(ADP-Ribose-)Polymerase (PARP) findet sich im Zellkern und katalysiert die DNA-Reparatur. Im Rahmen des programmierten Zelltods (Apoptose) wird PARP enzymatisch gespalten. Der Nachweis dieser Spaltprodukte zeigt Apoptose an. Bei Patienten mit systemischem Lupus erythematodes (SLE) ist der geordnete Ablauf der Apoptose gestört. Bei SLE-Patienten ist die Aktivität von PARP reduziert. PARP-Spaltprodukte finden sich beim LE hauptsächlich in Assoziation zu antinukleären und Anti-dsDNA-Antikörpern. Schließlich lassen sich im Serum beim LE, aber auch bei anderen Autoimmunerkrankungen, Anti-PAR- und Anti-PARP-Autoantikörper nachweisen.
