Pro Jahr erleiden mehr als 280.000 Menschen in Deutschland einen Schlaganfall - Tendenz steigend. Durch eine verbesserte medizinische Versorgung steigt gleichzeitig der Anteil derer, die einen Schlaganfall überleben und auch die Zahl der Patientinnen und Patienten, die von seinen Folgen und Komplikationen betroffen sind. Eine solche Komplikation sind epileptische Anfälle, die sowohl in der Akutphase als auch im Verlauf des Schlaganfalls auftreten können und möglicherweise die Rehabilitation zusätzlich erschweren [1]. …
