Zusammenfassung

Ovarielle Funktionsstörungen können vielfältige Ursachen haben. Nicht selten liegt eine Dysfunktion eines oder verschiedener Gene oder eine strukturelle oder numerische chromosomale Aberration zugrunde. Die Klinik dieser ovariellen Funktionsstörungen ist sehr vielfältig. Einige Formen zeigen ein spezifisches Krankheitsbild mit typischen klinischen Zeichen und Auffälligkeiten am Ovar. In anderen Fällen ist die ovarielle Funktionsstörung ein Symptom im Rahmen eines übergeordneten Syndroms. So führen chromosomale Aberrationen häufig zu einem typischen Syndrombild mit gonadaler Entwicklungsstörung. Spezifische ovarielle Funktionsstörungen wie das POF- oder das PCO-Syndrom können durch die Dysfunktion verschiedener Gene hervorgerufen werden und haben häufig einen multifaktoriellen Hintergrund.

In der MONARCHE-3-Studie lebten Frauen mit fortgeschrittenem Hormonrezeptor-positivem, HER2-negativem Brustkrebs länger, wenn sie zusätzlich zu einem nicht steroidalen Aromatasehemmer mit Abemaciclib behandelt wurden; allerdings verfehlte der numerische Zugewinn die statistische Signifikanz.
