Knie-TEP: Beim wem ist das Risiko für Instabilität erhöht?

Hamburger Orthopäden haben bei Knie-TEP-Patientinnen und -Patienten retrospektiv Faktoren identifiziert, die mit postoperativer Instabilität assoziiert waren. Dazu gehörten zum Beispiel ein jüngeres Alter, weibliches Geschlecht und vaskuläre Ereignisse.

Polymyalgia rheumatica in Deutschland häufiger als bisher angenommen

In Deutschland erkrankt jährlich etwa ein Promille der Bevölkerung im Alter von über 50 Jahren neu an Polymyalgia rheumatica, die Prävalenz beträgt etwa 1%. Die Krankheit tritt damit in Deutschland weit häufiger auf als bislang angenommen.
