As spinal bronchogenic cyst (SBC) is a rare developmental abnormality, the majority of adult patients with spinal bronchogenic cysts present with slowly progressive neurological symptoms. Here is a special case of a thoracic spinal bronchogenic cyst patient with an acute paraplegia, who made a complete neurological recovery after the emergency surgical removal of the mass lesion. To our knowledge, this is the only reported case of spinal bronchogenic cyst in a patient who lost the ability to move his lower extremities in a few days. …
