Trend Die Antibiotikaverordnungen zeigen 2018 gegenüber dem Vorjahr von der Gesamtmenge her eine leichte Abnahme. Bei den verschiedenen Substanzklassen fällt vor allem auf, dass die Verordnungen von sowohl Oralcephalosporinen als auch Fluorchinolonen um jeweils mehr als 10 % gesunken sind. Dafür wurden etwas mehr Amoxicillin und Amoxicillin-Clavulansäure verordnet. Ein leichter Rückgang ist erneut auch bei Makroliden/Clindamycin, Tetracyclinen und Sulfonamiden zu verzeichnen. Ein starker Anstieg war bei Pivmecillinam und Nitrofurantoin zu beobachten, mäßige Anstiege auch bei anderen Harnwegsinfektions-Antibiotika (Fosfomycin und Nitroxolin). Die systemisch wirksamen oralen Azolantimykotika wurden etwas häufiger verordnet, ebenso die antiviralen Substanzen Aciclovir und Oseltamivir. Bei den antiretroviralen Mitteln kam es zu einer deutlichen relativen Mehrverordnung der neuen Kombinationspräparate. …

Die Therapie von Echinokokkosen sollte immer in spezialisierten Zentren erfolgen. Eine symptomlose Echinokokkose kann – egal ob von Hunde- oder Fuchsbandwurm ausgelöst – konservativ erfolgen. Wenn eine Op. nötig ist, kann es sinnvoll sein, vorher Zysten zu leeren und zu desinfizieren.
