Created in 1990 by Pierre Kehr and Henry Coudane, EJOST, an European Journal of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology, had at the beginning only a French–French regional ambition, since it was the organ of SOTEST (Society of Orthopedics and Traumatology of Eastern France) and the GECO (Study Group for Bone Surgery). First appearing in French with abstracts in English, in a few years he had to become entirely English-speaking, expand his readership and his recruitment of articles first to Europe, then after 2013, to the whole world, once obtained PubMed/Medline referencing. …
