Dyspnea is a frequent and devastating symptom in patients with advanced cancer [

In patients with tumors of the upper mediastinum or neck, dyspnea is accompanied by objective physical findings such as stridor, pain in the area of neck or upper mediastinum, voice changes, and tumor infiltration of the head and neck tissues.
