Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the second leading cause of cancer-related death in the world. Colonoscopy screening is a screening test that can both prevent CRC by detecting and removing precancerous polyps, and detect cancer at an early, curable stage. Colonoscopy has become the predominant CRC screening test in the United States, where 61% of screening-eligible adults have undergone colonoscopy screening, compared to only 11% who chose stool-based tests [
