Auszug

Das Potenzial, auch feine dentoalveoläre Strukturen zu visualisieren, macht die hochauflösende dentale Volumentomographie (DVT) zu einem interessanten Werkzeug für die parodontale Diagnostik und Behandlungsplanung. Hierbei bleibt aus Behandlersicht zu klären, ob dieser diagnostische Mehrgewinn an Informationen tatsächlich zu einem besseren klinischen Ergebnis führt.
