A 53-year-old Chinese male complained of myoclonic and generalized tonic–clonic epilepsy for 10 years, progressive memory decline for 4 years. He received levetiracetam for seizure control. One year ago, he began to show bradykinesia and had difficulties in completing fine movements, such as writing and buttoning. He was then diagnosed with Parkinson’s plus syndrome and received levodopa. However, the above symptoms gradually aggravated. His family history was unremarkable.
