In a prospective open-label study of 25 patients, a patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed abdominal discomfort during treatment with acitretin for chronic hand eczema. The patient, who was diagnosed with chronic hand eczema, started receiving oral acitretin at an initial dose of 10mg twice daily. During 8-week period, the dose was further tapered to 10mg once daily. Subsequently, the patient developed abdominal discomfort [duration of treatment to reaction onset and outcome not stated]. …
