Zusammenfassung

Der antidepressive Effekt von Ausdauertraining ist mittlerweile gut belegt, und es gibt Hinweise, dass Sport auch bei Patienten mit therapieresistenter Depression einen Zusatznutzen erbringt. Aufgrund einer positiven Wirkung auf Arbeitsgedächtnis und Aufmerksamkeit könnten Patienten mit ausgeprägten kognitiven Symptomen von Sportinterventionen besonders profitieren.
