Zusammenfassung

Allgemeinsymptome wie Fatigue, Fieber und Infektionen treten nicht nur in der Allgemeinpädiatrie, sondern auch in der pädiatrischen Palliativversorgung sehr häufig auf. Das Kapitel gibt einen umfassenden Einblick in den o. g. Symptomkomplex. Der Fokus liegt dabei auf einer gründlichen differentialdiagnostischen Abklärung und Ursachenforschung der einzelnen Parameter. Tabellen und Übersichten geben darüber hinaus wertvolle Tipps zur medikamentösen (u. a. über die Sinnhaftigkeit einer Antibiose am Lebensende) sowie symptomatischen Therapie.
