While the Liver Imaging Reporting and Data System (LIRADS) classification scheme has gained widespread acceptance, the cumulative incidence of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) within each diagnostic category remains poorly defined, and the ACR has called for further studies to define the frequencies within these populations.
