Zusammenfassung

Die reine Belastungsinkontinenz des Mannes ist zumeist iatrogen bedingt. Der primäre Therapieansatz sollte immer aus konservativen Maßnahmen bestehen. Bei nicht ausreichender Besserung unter dieser Behandlung wird eine operative Therapie empfohlen. Dabei stehen funktionelle und adjustierbare Schlingensysteme sowie der künstliche Schließmuskel als etablierte Therapieoptionen zur Verfügung. Deren individuelle Erfolgsaussichten sollten in einer vorherigen genauen Diagnostik evaluiert werden.
