Zusammenfassung

In Deutschland hat sich ein Modell der Psychosomatischen Medizin entwickelt, das psychotherapeutische Methoden in die klinische Praxis integriert. Ein Konzept, das auf die Krankheitsvorgänge im menschlichen Körper und auf die Interaktion von kranken Menschen mit ihrer Umgebung gerichtet ist, wurde zu einer Basis der psychosomatischen Forschung und hat sich in der Medizin etabliert. Der vorliegende Artikel beschreibt die Ergebnisse dieser psychosomatischen Entwicklung hinsichtlich klinischer Versorgung und Forschung. Er skizziert mögliche Defizite und beschreibt Entwicklungslinien und zukünftige Aufgaben der psychosomatischen Medizin.
