Cancer-survivorship- und Versorgungsprogramme für Langzeitüberlebende

Zusammenfassung

International gewinnen Cancer-survivorship-Programme immer mehr an Bedeutung. Der vorliegende Beitrag gibt einen breiten Überblick über nationale Strategien zur Entwicklung von Nachsorgeprogrammen („Survivorship-Programme“) und Behandlungsplänen, die derzeit in den USA und in Europa verfolgt werden. Die unterschiedlichen Herangehensweisen bei der Umsetzung, personellen Planung und klinischen Schwerpunktsetzung werden herausgestellt. Besonderes Gewicht wird darauf gelegt, wie die Ansätze in verschiedene Versorgungsmodelle integriert werden. Je nach Land und Gesundheitssystem bestehen beträchtliche Unterschiede dahingehend, wie die Zeit nach überstandener Krebserkrankung formal als Behandlungsphase etabliert wird. Faktoren mit Einfluss auf diese Unterschiede werden thematisiert. Es wird eine Übersicht über Studien gegeben, die sich auf die Bewertung von Definitionen und Ergebnissen konzentriert.
