A 61-year-old woman developed blepharitis during treatment with cetuximab for metastatic adenocarcinoma of the colon. The woman started receiving cetuximab [route and dosage not stated] alongside fluorouracil [5-fluorouracil], folinic acid [leucovorin] and irinotecan (FOLFIRI regimen) for metastatic adenocarcinoma of the colon. However, after 10 cycles, she developed inflammation of the eyelid margin with associated eye irritation, which was subsequently diagnosed as blepharitis. The blepharitis was attributed to cetuximab. Therefore, cetuximab was withheld, and the woman was treated with unspecified antibiotics. Her clinical signs and symptoms of blepharitis eventually resolved. …
