This is the last issue of Neuroradiology edited by Ivan Moseley, Claude Manelfe, Mutsumasa Takahashi, Anton Valavanis and Robert Zimmerman. Neuroradiologists and other readers of this journal owe them a vote of gratitude for their efforts over the past 15 years. Ivan Moseley succeeded Thomas Naidich as chairman of the editors-in-chief in 1992 and has led an editorial process that has reduced the average time from manuscript submission to acceptance, introduced on-line publication, and raised the “all-important” citation index of the journal. The cover style changed in 2003, and new sections devoted to Paediatric and Functional Neuroradiology were introduced. Over the same period the journal was adopted as the official organ of the European and Japanese Societies of Neuroradiology. After over a decade in post, Dr Moseley has retired, and, on behalf of all readers, I wish to record our thanks to him and the other editors-in-chief. …
