Testicular germ cell tumors (GCTs) are rare neoplasms accounting for 1–2 % of all malignancies in men and represent the most common solid tumors in men between 15 and 35 years of age [
1]. Histologically, they are classified into seminoma and non-seminoma subtypes [
2]. Most recurrences of GCTs develop within the first 2 years after initial treatment [
3] Late relapse has been defined as relapse in the absence of contralateral tumor more than 2 years after a complete response to initial treatment and its reported incidence is 3–4 % [
3]. The retroperitoneum is the most common site of late relapse [
3]. Gastrointestinal tract metastasis of testicular tumors is a rare occurrence [

2]. We describe here a very rare case of relapse of a pure seminoma, 12 years after the initial treatment, in a patient who presented with sigmoid colon obstruction. …
