In a single institution long-term prospective study, a patient [age and sex not stated] was described, who developed moderate impairment of cardiac contractibility during treatment with doxorubicin [duration of treatment to reaction onset not stated]. The patient, who was newly diagnosed with Hodgkin lymphoma, started receiving chemotherapy with ABVD regimen that included IV doxorubicin 25 mg/m² for days 1 and 15. Subsequently, the patient developed moderate impairment of cardiac contractibility. The patient was treated with carvedilol and a favourable outcome was achieved. …
