Entwicklung einer Kondylendysplasie nach Meniskusresektion beim Kind

Zusammenfassung

Kindliche Meniskusverletzungen sind selten. Die meisten davon sind traumatisch bedingt oder stehen in Zusammenhang mit einem Scheibenmeniskus. Wir berichten über eine 6-jährige Patientin mit einem lateralen diskoiden Meniskus des linken Kniegelenks. Nach relevanter Meniskusteilresektion kam es im Verlauf zur Entwicklung einer lateralen Femurkondylendysplasie. Der vorliegende Fall demonstriert eindrücklich die Folgen einer relevanten Meniskusteilresektion auf das wachsende Kniegelenk. Ob die frühe Implantation eines Kollagenmeniskusimplantats die Entwicklung einer Femurkondylendysplasie verhindern kann, bleibt abzuwarten.
