The patient is a 78-year-old female immigrant from Vietnam with a history of chronic hepatitis B virus (HBV) infection, whose initial complaint was progressive weight loss and jaundice over several months. Triphasic computed tomography (CT) revealed the presence of numerous hepatic lesions demonstrating arterial hypervascularity and delayed venous washout, characteristic of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), with associated extra- and intra-hepatic biliary dilation and choledocholithiasis. Her alpha-fetoprotein level was also elevated at 104 ng/mL. Additional imaging did not reveal any extrahepatic metastasis. …
