In case reports received from the Centre for Adverse Reactions Monitoring (CARM) database of New Zealand Medicines and Medical Devices Safety Authority, a 67-year-old woman (CARM ID: 125605) was described, who developed lichen planus rash following vaccination with varicella zoster virus vaccine live [Zostavax; zoster vaccine] and influenza vaccine. A punch biopsy confirmed lichen planus rash.
