Zusammenfassung

Mit möglichst minimalen Operationen zu einem verletzungsfrei funktionierenden Fuß – das ist die Kunst der kreativen Chirurgie. Generell vereinfacht die Grundkonstellation der Betroffenen die Verfahren, weil die Patienten für große Eingriffe und die Implantation von Fremdmaterial meist nicht geeignet sind. Auf das funktionell Wesentliche reduziert sind die Eingriffe oft ambulant möglich und ein Segen für die Betroffenen. Also hier ein Kapitel mit ca. 25 Eingriffen – Chirurgie vom Feinsten.

Mit dem demographischen Wandel versorgt auch die Chirurgie immer mehr betagte Menschen. Von Entwicklungen wie Fast-Track können auch ältere Menschen profitieren und bei proximaler Humerusfraktur können selbst manche 100-Jährige noch sicher operiert werden.
