In a study, three men, aged 56−73 years were identified who developed contrast induced nephropathy (CIN) following treatment with contrast agent iohexol [Omnipaque]. One of these men, who had baseline renal insufficiency, was also receiving vancomycin and a cephalosporin [specific drug not stated], which were thought to be acted as confounding factors for his increased creatinine [routes and durations of treatments to reactions onsets not stated; not all dosages stated]. …
