Chernobyl: more systematic research needed!

In this issue of the European Journal of Epidemiology three papers on the consequences of the accident in Chernobyl in 1986 are published. The first paper is a study from Norway on neurological and developmental outcomes in children [1], the second an ongoing cohort study [2] on children exposed to radiation in utero and the third one an overview [3] in which results regarding somatic health effect from Chernobyl are summarized. …
