Persistierende Dysphagie und mechanische Glottisparese

Komplikation einer ventralen Frakturspondylodese bei Morbus Forestier

Zusammenfassung

Eine persistierende Dysphagie mit Stimmbandparese nach ventraler Instrumentierung einer Halswirbelsäulenfraktur bei vorbestehender diffuser idiopathischer Skeletthyperostose (DISH) ist eine seltene, aber für den jeweiligen Patienten dramatische Komplikation. Im Rahmen des geschilderten Fallbeispiels werden mögliche pathogenetische Faktoren diskutiert. Letztendlich sollte bei diesen Patienten eine sorgfältige und konsequente Abtragung der Spondylophyten erfolgen, um die laryngeale Dekompensation zu verhindern.
