Zusammenfassung

Hintergrund und Methode

Die Prävalenz der Urolithiasis ist sowohl im Erwachsenen- als auch im Kindesalter zunehmend. Größe, Lokalisation sowie Morphologie der Konkremente sind Entscheidungskriterien für eine risikoadaptierte Steintherapie. Hierfür ist eine zielgerichtete bildgebende Diagnostik erforderlich, die bei maximierter Sensitivität und Spezifität eine möglichst minimale Strahlenbelastung bietet.

Ziel

Ziel des Beitrags ist eine kritische leitlinienorientierte Darstellung der Bildgebungsmethoden als Grundlage für eine optimierte Therapieplanung bei Harnleiter- und Nierensteinen unter Berücksichtigung der Besonderheiten bei Kindern und Schwangeren.
