Unfortunately the values given for insulin sensitivity and disposition index (DI) in Tables 2 and 3 of this article were incorrect. The corrected tables are reproduced here. There was also a mistake in the legend for Figure 3 which should have read: ‘Data points and bars are mean ± SE for insulin sensitivity and for beta cell glucose sensitivity’, instead of ‘Data points and bars are mean ± SE for insulin sensitivity and median ± SE for beta cell glucose sensitivity’.
