Die laterale Retinaculumspaltung

Zusammenfassung

Die vorliegende Arbeit beinhaltet eine Literaturrecherche über die laterale Retinaculumspaltung. Von den 30 beurteilten Arbeiten fand sich lediglich eine prospektive randomisierte Studie. Diese konnte keine signifikante Differenz zwischen arthroskopischer und offener lateraler Retinaculumspaltung dokumentieren. Generell wurden bei isolierter lateraler Retinaculumspaltung zur Therapie der Patellainstabilität schlechte Langzeitresultate gefunden. Dagegen stellt die laterale Retinaculumspaltung bei lateraler Hyperkompression mit stabiler Patella und fehlender Dysplasie eine Intervention mit guten Erfolgsaussichten dar. Die laterale Retinaculumspaltung mit gleichzeitiger Weichteilkorrektur vermindert die Häufigkeit der weiteren Patellaluxationen und ist der isolierten lateralen Retinaculumspaltung vorzuziehen. Bei der patellofemoralen Arthrose führt die isolierte laterale Retinaculumspaltung nur kurzfristig zu einer Verbesserung.
