In den letzen Jahrzehnten haben sich die Therapiemöglichkeiten beim Rektumkarzinom extrem verbessert. Doch postoperative Komplikationen und funktionelle Einschränkungen nach neoadjuvanter Therapie und Rektumresektion, sowie die Kurz- oder Langzeitmorbidität der Patienten sind ein nicht zu unterschätzendes Problem. Neue Therapiekonzepte und minimalinvasive Ansätze sollen Abhilfe schaffen. …
