Thirty-nine years after it first came out, the 7th edition of the well-known textbook entitled Ocular Pathology by Myron Yanoff and Joseph Sassani comes out updated and user-friendlier. The print version comes with online access to the e-book, and the Kindle version that holds great appeal to the younger physicians is also available for purchase at a slightly lower price. The print version comes in high quality print paper and the colors have adequate saturation and contrast. The chapter organization with color-coding allows readers to find the topic of interest more promptly. The online and Kindle versions also allow the reader to directly select the subtopics within the various chapters. The book continues to have an outline format that makes even the most complex topics easily digestible. The newly added tables, schematic drawings, and vivid illustrations perfectly complement the detailed descriptions of various disease processes. Another great feature is the side-by-side depictions of every pathological condition. Examples of gross lesions as well as their appearance under the microscope make this a wonderful resource for clinicians and pathologists alike. …
