With pharmacoeconomics educational offerings varying greatly worldwide, Rascati and colleagues[1] highlight the efforts that the International Society for Pharmacoeconomics and Outcomes Research (ISPOR) is making to define standards. The authors reported the ISPOR’s initiative to establish a set of potential learning outcomes for pharmacoeconomics programmes that would assist institutions and organisations in the design of programmes’ curricula and, more importantly, would help develop outcome measures to determine whether such programmes are providing learners with effective training. …
