Zusammenfassung

Die Rekonstruktion des medialen patellofemoralen Ligaments (MPFL) zur Therapie der Patellaluxation ist ein häufig durchgeführtes operatives Prozedere mit sehr guten klinischen Ergebnissen, aber auch mit durchaus nicht geringen Komplikationsraten. Vorderer Knieschmerz, Bewegungseinschränkungen und Reluxationen der Patella sind drei wesentliche Versagensgründe. Die Ursache kann in der Indikationsstellung, der technischen Durchführung, an Vorschäden und an nichtkorrigierten knöchernen Risikofaktoren der Patellainstabilität oder des Patella-Maltrackings liegen. Im Fall eines MPFL-Versagens ist eine genaue Ursachenanalyse notwendig. Ein standardisiertes Vorgehen mittels eines Algorithmus kann hierbei hilfreich sein. Der vorliegende Beitrag präsentiert anhand klinischer Fälle Lösungen im Revisionsfall nach MPFL-Plastik.
