The incidence of CIED complications ranges up to 10% in the literature, with the leading complications of hematomas, lead dislodgement, pneumothorax, infection, and cardiac perforation [

3]. The current literature is based on national databases or high-volume center experiences. However, this has limitations such as coding, billing, documentation, and anecdotal experience. With an aging population with increasing comorbidities, this complication rate is on the rise and triaging the prevention strategies for leading complications is germane [
