In elderly patients who initiated treatment with antipsychotics, the risk of stroke in the UK was "substantially reduced" after the issuing of safety warnings and related risk minimisation activities, according to the results of a cohort study reported in Drug Safety, but such reductions did not occur in Italy, where similar communications were apparently issued without supporting initiatives. …
