Auszug

Erste psychotische Episoden treten meist in der Adoleszenz und im frühen Erwachsenenalter auf und können der Beginn einer schweren chronischen Erkrankung sein. Eine frühe Diagnostik und adäquate Therapie beeinflussen Verlauf und Prognose und können schwerwiegende psychosoziale Folgen verhindern oder zumindest abschwächen. Dieser Artikel gibt einen Überblick über die Differenzialdiagnostik sowie evidenzbasierte Therapien bei ersten psychotischen Episoden.
