Zusammenfassung

Die Spiroergometrie ist ein etabliertes Untersuchungsverfahren, um die komplexe Leistungs(patho)physiologie unter körperlicher Belastung zu erfassen und die Komponenten Metabolismus, Kreislauf und Ventilation zu prüfen. Dabei spielt die Ventilation eine entscheidende Rolle u. a. bei der Beurteilung der Ausbelastung, der Diagnose und Schweregradbestimmung sowie dem Therapiemonitoring von obstruktiven oder restriktiven Lungenerkrankungen und bei Erkrankungen des pulmonalen sowie systemischen Kreislaufs. Für eine moderne Patientenversorgung sind genaue Kenntnisse der quantitativen und qualitativen Aspekte der Ventilation unter Belastung erforderlich. Diese praxisnahe Darstellung soll dazu wesentliche Grundlagen vermitteln und dadurch die Analyse von Messwerten der Spiroergometrie erleichtern.
