Dural arteriovenous fistulas (DAVFs) are vascular malformations that develop arteriovenous channels in the dura mater. DAVFs have not been well understood in their natural history, but those with cortical venous reflux (CVR) are at increased risk for intracranial hemorrhage and non-hemorrhagic neurological deficits [

2]. Spontaneous closure of DAVF has been reported, although this is rare and mostly involved the benign type without CVR; reports of closure of the aggressive type with CVR are extremely rare [
