Zusammenfassung

Das Spektrum der Herzrhythmusstörungen bei Sportlern reicht von benignen Arrhythmien ohne Auswirkungen auf die Gesundheit bis zum Kammerflimmern mit plötzlichem Herztod als tragische Manifestation dieser letalen Arrhythmie. Herzrhythmusstörungen äußern sich meistens als Palpitationen, Synkopen oder Schwindel. Sie können jedoch auch völlig asymptomatisch bleiben. Eine gründliche Diagnostik und entsprechende Beratung und Therapie sollte dazu dienen, benigne von malignen Arrhythmien zu unterscheiden sowie die Gesundheit und Lebensqualität betroffener Sportler zu erhalten. In diesem Kapitel werden rhythmologische Aspekte der Sportkardiologie beschrieben unter wesentlicher Berücksichtigung der 2020 ESC Guidelines.
