Zusammenfassung

Die Sprunggelenksteife führt zu einer erheblichen Einschränkung der Lebensqualität und des Gangbilds. In der überwiegenden Zahl der Fälle entsteht dieses Krankheitsbild am Sprunggelenk infolge sekundärer Ursachen, die in intraartikuläre und extraartikuläre sowie jeweils in weichteilbedingte und ossäre Veränderungen differenziert werden. Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden die Ätiologie der Sprunggelenksteife und deren Behandlungsmöglichkeiten dargestellt, wobei der Schwerpunkt auf den arthroskopischen Verfahren liegt.
