Intravenous pulse cyclophosphamide is the standard therapy for the treatment of lupus nephritis [
1]. Menstrual irregularities and premature ovarian failure can result from the prolonged use of cyclophosphamide [

3]. The teratogenic potential of cyclophosphamide has also been reported [
4], and its effect has been proven in humans [
