The advancement of life sciences relies on educating new generations of professionals who, through their research efforts, can eventually improve patient care and thereby the quality of life of patients. In the fields of orthopaedic sports medicine and joint surgery, surgical innovation has been outstanding over the past few decades. Never before have so many patients been surgically treated at such a high level as today.
