Zusammenfassung

Vitamin B12 regeneriert Neuronen und andere Körperzellen und spielt eine wichtige Rolle im Metabolismus von Proteinen und Neurotransmittern. Die Folge eines Mangelzustandes — etwa bei zu geringer Aufnahme oder verringerter Resorption — kann zum Beispiel eine Demenz oder Depression sein. Das Wichtigste zu klinischen Symptomen, Diagnose, Ursachen und Behandlung eines B12-Mangels.
