Saxena et al. provide further evidence of the safety and efficacy of yttrium 90 radioembolization for the treatment of chemorefractory colorectal liver metastases with the publication of outcomes in more than 300 patients treated during a 7-year period. The reported survival rates and low grade of toxicities complement a growing body of evidence in favor of transarterial radioembolization for the treatment of a disease with an otherwise dismal prognosis.
